Thanks for the paper

Mark Diebel

Thank you! Glad to see that this sort of discussion is ongoing. I know that it must be a fault to refer a writer to other writers whom he has not referred to... but I must mention the phenomenological work of Goethe... which was primary and seminal. It was followed upon a writer not often referred to in academic circles, though his name is not unheard of, Rudolf Steiner. His early pre-anthroposophical labors in philosophy and epistemology are worth the read... especially his dissertation I believe called, Truth and Knowledge, and the later Philosophy of Spiritual Activity (though this is published under more than one title.)

Thank you again for this interesting paper... which will bear re-reading more than once.

Thanks for this. I wish I knew my Husserl better, since "nonfoundationalist realism" is pretty much where I find myself, though less via phenomenology and more through the interface between analytic philosophy, postmodern continental theory, and the always challenging premoderns.

Ken,

The Redeeming Reason conference was a hop, skip, and a jump down the street from where I live, but sadly I had other affairs to tend to and couldn't make it. I'm glad you posted your paper, however. It makes for an interesting read.

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how you can give a five star rating to both Allan Bloom and Brian McLaren. I'll figure it out eventually...

Take care.

Gary Manders

May I thank you for presenting in a clear and concise way some complex philosophy, so that I can grasp it and make applications to my own thinking.

I would want to give this work of Ten Men and a Road to help prove diviney of phenomenlogy to this man. Can anyone help me make this man acquinatance? It certainly would be a phenomenology of language that will render speechless a congregation.Work of ten years proving phenomenlogical miracle of Edith Stein, Pope John Paul 11 and what would be science then, of phenomenology.
